The Man in the Moon

In English we have been using the text ‘The Man in the Moon’ by William Joyce to develop our descriptive writing skills. 

We have learnt some new CONJUNCTIONS for comparison, CONJUNCTIONS to improve our cohesion and this week we used some of Alan Peat’s SENTENCE IMPROVERS to add further detail. 

We have also looked at this Christmas Advert from 2015 and this week we will be comparing the main characters and predicting what they would say to each other if they ever met . . .
